February 10, 2013: A New Year & A New Slate of Projects!

May 9, 2012: Revolve Kickstarter has ended 955% funded!

After 45 days of fundraising on Kickstarter.com, the Revolve Camera Dolly has finished its first round of investment thanks to 476 interational backers for a total raise of $71,664 - that's 955% of the funding objective. We are very proud of the man behind the design, one of our own artists: Jeremy Canterbury. Jeremy began to design the dolly over a year ago when our operations began to focus primarily on video production. We realized how expensive a dolly would be to rent or buy so Jeremy began to design the prototype for an efficient, portable, versatile, and inexpensive alternative. Fast-forward one year and Revolve is officially off the ground and running. We hope to produce as many Kickstarter videos as possible from here on out. Please let us know if you have an idea for Kickstarter and we can help you set up your campaign!

April 20, 2012: Revolve + Ancible in the Media

We're excited to announce that a lot of online and print media have been picking up coverage for the Revolve Camera Dolly Kickstarter Page. From The O.C. Register to the U.C. Santa Barbara The Daily Nexus both the Kickstarter Page and Ancible Media are getting some love. Here's a list of more recent features on the net:

Digital Trends- "...Get those smooth video shots with the Revolve dolly ... a low-cost, modular alternative to more conventional camera equipment"
Designboom "...a functional alternative to the very expensive costs of conventional camera equipment."
Mobile Magazine "...moving, dynamic shots can be so much more interesting. The trouble is trying to get those motions to be as smooth as possible without breaking the bank and that's where Revolve comes in."
Gizmag "...the Revolve camera dolly could be an invaluable device for filmmakers to capture smooth, dynamic video from any location."
Techmash "...an interesting design that means making a video and taking great images is made easy, no matter what camera is used."
Popflys "...I'm shocked with how cheap this system is being sold for. If you're an indie filmmaker or hell even a student with a camera you'll benefit from this system."
AllCoolShit "...a really cool and affordable solution for pro and amateur photographers."
The Elevated Standard "...Buttery smooth camera pans aren't restricted to million dollar budget productions anymore."

March 23, 2012: Revolve Kickstarter Video/Page is Live!

After several months of hard work we're pleased to announce that Jeremy's Revolve Kickstarter page has gone live! Jeremy has been working on his camera accessory inventions for a year now and it's finally ready to go into mass production. We began work on the video for the Revolve Camera Dolly a little over 6 weeks ago and it is now ready for streaming on the Kickstarter page above! We will also be posting a Vimeo version of the video to our "Videos" section in the next 24 hours. The Dolly itself is an amazingly effective camera accessory system without the high-cost of in-store accessories. We've been playing with the Revolve Dollies for several months now and we've used it: on flat surfaces/tables/counter-tops, with its custom rail system, as a monopod-extended dolly, and as a camera stabilizer. Whether you're a photo/video consumer, prosumer, or professional, this fantastic system is portable, versatile, and affordable.

March 22, 2012: Rebellious Truths Video

Our good friends at Change for Balance have been creating a series of videos for the watchdog group Rebellious Truths and here is some of their finest work yet. In essence, the video and group are a symbolic representation for the realistic angst among today's youth and counter-culture. In the video above, one of our own - Gregory Frank - had the opportunity to act as one of the lead roles. Whether or not you agree with the group's message we urge you to check out this beautifully crafted video! Over 250,000+ views and counting!

February 10, 2012: We're on National Television!

We are pleased to announce that footage from Ancible Media has made it national television! While QVC Shopping Network has been busy selling Phone Halo/Cobra's "Cobra Tag Sensor" - they have opted to use B-Roll we shot for them during last summer's Cobra commercial shoot. We are very excited to see our work on the real tube and would like to share the on-air presentation with all of you! Click HERE to check it out under the "Videos" tab on QVC's website!

January 27, 2012: CES 2012

We've just gotten back from a two week trip to CES 2012 Las Vegas, the Maurizio Cattelan exhibit at the New York City Guggenheim Museum, and a short stint in Miami for a documentary interview. Over the next few weeks we'll be adding lots of content from this and other trips, as well as several new features to our website. Over the next few months we will be greatly expanding our presence on social media with a host of new content created by Ancible. Please check back regularly as we will be rolling out an enlarged photo gallery, new sections of our website, and lots of new videos!

December 10, 2011: Our latest commercial!

This latest piece from Ancible Media was produced in September for Cobra Electronics Corporation out of Chicago, Illinois. Known for mass producing the original C.B. Radio, Cobra has sinced moved into the Bluetooth and Smartphone applications' markets. This particular commercial was shot over the course of two days on a Sony XDCAM EX PMW rig.

December 9, 2011: Underwater Filming, Take 10

This 43 second commercial was produced for Frog Skin LLC in the summer of 2011 and has been blogged about on Mass Device by Dr. John Halamka. We shot 95% of this video on our Sony HDR-FX7 rig with a tripod and steadicam in about two hours. For the underwater shots, we used a simple FUJIFILM FinePix XP20 rig that was stabilized using a customized underwater stand made from the remnants of a microphone stand. For more information, check out the video on Vimeo or in our Videos section.
